For many years, I have worked with people across this city to create safe, inclusive, sustainable communities that are free from discrimination and hate.

I love Toronto and like many of us who have chosen to make our city our home, I am concerned about our future. But I believe our future is up to us. A more affordable, livable and caring city is possible.

This is Our Community. Our Moment.

As you know, I am running for Toronto City Council in Ward 23, my home, that encompasses the vibrant and diverse communities of Regent Park, St. James Town and Cabbagetown.

My campaign to bring honesty, integrity, fairness and our shared vision of inclusion to Ward 23 and to Toronto City Council, is entering a critical phase, and I need your help.

On Tuesday, July 24th, I'll be launching my campaign and I want to invite all of you -- my friends and neighbours -- to join me for a night of food, fun and celebration. This event is accessible, child-friendly and held in the community which I dearly love.
